The Ancient Kemetyu used a combination of magical rituals and plant-based healing to cure ailments. They further understood how the essential ingredients of milk, honey, Aloe Vera, avocado, almond oil and rose water could transform skin to supple, soft, smooth and beautiful. The Ebers Papyrus, a source for medical knowledge, instructed people to mix animal and vegetable oils with alkaline salts for washing and treating skin diseases.  Hygiene and personal appearance was essential to the culture, as they tended to bath a number of times a day due to the hot climate. In ancient Kmt, it was believed that the cleaner and well-oiled a person was, the closer they were to the NTRU. 

 

Modern Kemetyu aim to also use herbs and other natural items to facilitate a healthy body and spirit. Originating in ancient Arabia, Jasmine crossed the Red Sea three thousand years ago and found home in Ancient Kemet. Jasmine was used for both decorations and perfumes as well as religious ceremonies where large floral bouquets, or occasionally wreaths made in the shape of an ankh sign were popular offerings to the NTRU. Jasmine is believed to have strong connection purity, motherhood, love, sensuality, spiritual awareness, compassion, and purpose. Many modern Kemetyu utilize jasmine as a part of their meditation, prayer, and other spiritual practices.

    Soap Care

    To extend the life of the soap to its max, please set on a well-drained soap dish or wire rack to dry out in between uses.

     

    Ingredients: Anhydrous soap (sodium oleate), perfume, inorganic matter (free caustic alkali, free sodium carbonate, sodium chloride and sodium silicate), trace of coloring agent and balance moisture (glycerin).

     

    Please discontinue use on skin if irritation occurs; avoid contact with eyes.
